This is Dijon Kameri

20 August 2022 will go down as one of the most important days of the life of young Dijon Kameri. Having gone through all the age groups of our youth teams and becoming a champion in all three years at the Red Bull Academy (U15, U16 and U18), our head coach Matthias Jaissle sent him into action in the 74th minute yesterday against Austria Klagenfurt - and Dijon made his competitive debut for us! "It was my big dream to play here," said the 18-year-old grinning in a post-match interview. The Austrian youth international managed to get a shot for us already in his first appearance.

That will just be the start. Dijon Kameri is always good for spectacular things. Against the Czech U18 team, the number ten scored Austria's Young Goal of the Year in 2021, while his effort in the UEFA Youth League semi-final against Atletico Madrid earned wild praise. We'd be very happy to see more of that in future!
