The Red Bull Football Academy is, for the 15th time to become the scene of one of the most prestigious U16 tournaments in Europe. From 15 to 17 August 2024, our Young Bulls led by Tobias Kern are to compete with promising youngsters from across the world.
Along with Chelsea, Benfica and Brighton & Hove Albion, Red Bull Bragantino (2023) and Yeelen Olympique (2022) have been among the sides to win the tournament in Liefering.
Numerous stars of tomorrow
Phil Foden, Ferran Torres, Dominik Szoboszlai, Josko Gvardiol and Niclas Füllkrug are just some of the young talents who have shone in the Next Generation Trophy over the years. Youngsters at the tournament have gone on to win Euros, the UEFA Champions League, Premier League and become top goalscorers.
This year's edition will be opened by the Salzburg youngsters against TSG Hoffenheim (Thursday at 11:00 CEST). We will broadcast the tournament hosted by our co-operation partners on two live streams on our YouTube channel.

Structure
Two halves of 25 minutes will be played with a five-minute break. Any ties in the knockout stage that are drawn will go straight to a penalty shoot-out to decide the winner.
