FC Red Bull Salzburg have extended the contract of 18-year-old Spanish talent Alexander Murillo, who has signed a new contract running until 30 June 2029.
Alexander Murillo Albert came to Salzburg from Spain at the start of the 2022/23 season and first played for the U18 team of the Red Bull Football Academy (winning two league titles). He then made appearances for our UEFA Youth League team (five matches) and as a co-operation player for FC Liefering (four matches).

It is fantastic that Alexander Murillo has extended his contract with us. He has lots of talent and potential, which is definitely far from being fulfilled. It is important that he keeps on working hard on his own development, and we are delighted to keep on supporting him in that.
I am very pleased about the contract extension, as I feel very happy in Salzburg in every regard. In my previous appearances in the academy and for the Youth League team as well as FC Liefering, I have been able to learn a lot and help my team. I think that I am on a good path, but that is far from being over.
