Our first week of pre-season is approaching an end and taking us to the spectacular Pinzgau area - to Saalfelden, to be precise. We are setting up camp there until 8 July with an eight-day training camp.
The team are to spend their time at Hotel Gut Brandlhof, which has its own training pitch and has been used in the past by a number of well-known clubs like Liverpool, Newcastle United, RB Leipzig and Borussia Mönchengladbach. It will be the first time we are holding a training camp there.
A total of nine training sessions have been scheduled along with two friendly matches. Opponents will be Polish runners-up Legia Warsaw (on 4 July from 18:00 CET in Saalfelden) as well as Danish runners-up FC Nordsjaelland (on 8 July from 15:30 in Anif). Ticket information can be found here:
The training camp will see the return of several internationals, who were given a little time to recover after the post-season international break.
