The regular season of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga is over, and we are looking ahead excitedly to the championship group! To help in the meantime, we are taking another look back at the special highlights that have entertained us over the past 22 Austrian Bundesliga matches.
Amar Dedic on fire
On the 4th Matchday, our right-back grabbed his first Bundesliga brace with two absolute belters! There was just no stopping Amar Dedic on 20 August in our 5-1 win in Hartberg as he displayed some brilliant dribbling and passing. In addition to his two goals, the 21-year-old chipped in with an assist. There is plenty of reason to sit back and enjoy the highlights of that encounter:
An incredible home run
Wins in the Austrian Klassiker are always something special, and even more so when they set a new record.
We went a whopping 45 home matches in a row without suffering defeat. The best bit of the run was a 2-0 win at the Red Bull Arena against SK Rapid Vienna on 3 September 2023. Roko Simic smashed a brace in front of 17,000 fans to take us to victory!
We are the only side to ever record a longer unbeaten Bundesliga home run (53 home matches unbeaten between 2016 and 2019).
A record-breaking goal
It wasn't enough for a win, but our first visit to the new stadium of FC Blau-Weiß Linz will linger long in the memory for a special strike. The referee had only just kicked off the match when we went 1-0 up! Petar Ratkov charged on the hosts' goal straight from kick-off and blocked a clearance from the goalkeeper to send it straight into the net – with less than six seconds on the clock - to set a new ADMIRAL Bundesliga record that will probably not be broken for a while.

Fernando's fabulous new year
Sometimes you just have to be patient, and nobody knows that better than the 25-year-old Brazilian, who has suffered great injury misfortune for most of his spell at our club.
The attacking marvel was fit in time for the new year and has well and truly hit the ground running! The striker has four goals already in 2024, and we are just thrilled to have him back.
A seven-goal spectacular at the Red Bull Arena
Scoring seven goals is something special against any opponents, especially if they are also in the top flight. Our Red Bulls ran riot at home to SC Austria Lustenau, with the first goal falling in the fourth minute and the dam well and truly breaking.

To be continued …
More highlights can be expected from this Sunday, when we host TSV Hartberg at 17:00 CET in our first championship group match. Tickets are on sale for this match and all other home matches in the championship group! Details can be found here:
