Our reaching the play-off for the UEFA Champions League league stage has caused a knock-on effect for our fixture list. The Bundesliga has postponed our home match, originally planned for Saturday 24 August, against TSV Egger Glas Hartberg.
The ÖFBL will announce a new date once the remaining fixtures before the winter break (Matchdays 6 to 16) are announced after the UEFA play-off matches are completed.
Common approach agreed by Bundesliga clubs
Since the 2021/22 season, the ÖFBL and Austrian clubs have agreed that postponements can be requested between a team's European play-off matches. We have decided to use that option.
Should we make the UEFA Champions League group stage, some three percent of our prize money will go into a solidarity fund that all clubs in the league that are not in a European group stage can draw from. Should a club make the Europa League group stages, it is 1.5% of their prize money that goes into the pot.
