Day 1 at the training camp

Team training & city tour

On their first day in Malta, our boys got to know the pitch at the Tony Bezzina Stadium for the first time ahead of a friendly match with Inter Milan there on Wednesday. After warming up, we focused on passing and shooting - as we want to use every opportunity we get against the Italians, after all.

Our Red Bulls then had a free afternoon. Most of the players used it to discover the capital city, Valletta, before getting back to work tomorrow morning.

Being able to train in the warmth again at 20 degrees is really nice after it's been so cold at home recently. After training, I went to the gym to work on my body a bit. After having lunch, a few of us went into the city and to the sea, and then we went to a restaurant to watch the Croatia match. It's a really great area here, and the facilities are top on the whole!
