FC Red Bull Salzburg have extended the contract of John Mellberg. The 18-year-old from Sweden now has a deal running until 30 June 2028.
The talented centre-back came from his homeland to the Red Bulls last season and made ten appearances as a co-operation player for FC Liefering. The Swedish U18 international made three appearances for our UEFA Youth League team.
John Mellberg will remain a co-operation player for Liefering.
