It's going to be a day to remember today! While we have our title party to look forward to, things are already going very nicely for our wonderful coach Matthias Jaissle - having recently extended his contract until 30 June 2025, he has been voted Coach of the Season in the Austrian Bundesliga for 2021/22! Our boss is following in some well-known footprints - Jesse Marsch and Marco Rose have already been given the honour from a jury of presidents, club managers and coaches.
Despite our incredible season, which saw us win the double of league and UNIQA ÖFB Cup as well taking a spot in the UEFA Champions League last 16, Sturm Graz's Jakob Jantscher was voted Player of the Season. Voted Referee of the Season again was Harald Lechner. Austria Vienna midfielder Matthias Braunöder received the honour for best newcomer and his team-mate Patrick Pentz the one for best goalkeeper.
