We have been able to resolve another important squad matter well ahead of the new season. Max Wöber has signed a new deal with the Red Bulls that runs until 30 June 2025.
Brimming with international experience
Having played for Rapid Vienna, Ajax and FC Sevilla, Max Wöber joined Salzburg in August 2019. The defender capped six times for Austria now has three years of UEFA Champions League experience and has become one of our key players.
The tall central defender (1.88 m) has made a total of 104 appearances (with seven goals and three assists) and can look forward to plenty more in the years to come!
