As we want to look the part in more ways than one in the UEFA Champions League, we have worked on a new European club logo for the 2022/23 season.
Star right in the middle
We are boosting the visibility by shortening the bull's tail and making it more central. That will make our logo appear much larger in future when used online or on television.
In accordance with our Des is Soizburg motto, the Salzburg lettering has also been enlargened. Other design elements, such as the ball and the border, have been simplified to reflect our modern club philosophy. The enlarged bull therefore represents the dynamic and powerful football we want to show against the top teams in Europe!

These changes have already been confirmed by UEFA, and our old European logo is therefore not valid any more.
