The UEFA Nations League has not started in the way Switzerland wanted. Every point counts for them in a tough group with Spain, Portugal and Czech Republic. Losing 1-2 due to a Sow own goal was therefore disappointing. Noah Okafor fans still had cause to celebrate, however, yesterday. Our tricky attacker smashed the ball into the top corner to equalise shortly before half-time. We would expect nothing less of the 22-year-old!

In Benji Sesko – who came on as a second-half substitute, another Red Bull represented his country yesterday. Slovenia also suffered a defeat though, losing their Nations League opener 0-2 to Sweden.
Austria v Croatia live on Free TV this evening
It remains to be seen if our Austrian boys can do better tonight. There is great excitement ahead of Ralf Rangnick's first match in charge of the Austrian national team, who have Nici Seiwald and Max Wöber in the squad. The Nations League match against Croatia will be a real test for the new set-up. The match kicks off at 20:45 and will be broadcast live on ORF 1 in Austria.
There will be no Luka Sucic tonight. Our Player of the Month for May is in the Croatia U21 set-up and will try to help secure qualification for the European championships against Norway. Also in action today are:
- Rasmus Kristensen (Denmark) | Nations League v France, 20:45 CET, live on DAZN
- Junior Adamu (Austria) | U21 Euro Qualifying v Finland, 18:00 CET, live on ORF Sport +
- Nico Mantl (Germany) | U21 Euro Qualifying v Hungary 18:15 CET, live on SAT.1
All the best, boys!
