We have signed a new striker in Petar Ratkov. The 19-year-old Serb is joining us from runners-up FK TSC Backa Topola and has signed a contract with our Red Bulls until 2028.
Despite his young age, the 1.93-metre tall attacker has the experience of 75 appearances in the Serbian top flight behind him. He managed to shine last season when not missing a single match, scoring 13 goals in 36 appearances and providing four assists. In the Serbian cup, the U21 international also provided one goal and one assist.
Petar Ratkov will take the number 21 shirt number for us.

He will get all the time he needs at us to adjust to the higher level and his new challenges. Petar is known for his very good mentality, and he will be working hard from the very first day to find his feet with us and settle in as quickly as possible.
It's an incredible feeling to sign for such a big club. I have followed FC Red Bull Salzburg for a long time, already, and I think they have a perfect overall set-up. I chatted to Strahinja Pavlovic ahead of the transfer, and he spoke only in the very highest terms of the possibilities here. I can barely wait to play at the Red Bull Arena for the first time.
