Philipp Köhn has left our Red Bulls for the French top-flight, signing a contract with AS Monaco.
The 25-year-old Swiss goalkeeper came to Salzburg in summer 2018 from RB Leipzig, and played first as a co-operation player at FC Liefering in 12 matches. In the 2020/21 season, Köhn went on loan to Swiss second tier side FC Wil, and he returned from there after gaining plenty of playing time and confidence.
The keeper born in Germany has played a total of 83 matches for us, and his exceptional performances have seen him elected Best Goalkeeper of the 2022/23 Austrian Bundesliga season as well as being called up into the Swiss national squad.
Philipp Köhn is to link up at AS Monaco with former Salzburg men Adi Hütter, Takumi Minamino and Mo Camara.
