Roko Simic is leaving FC Red Bull Salzburg after three years to join Cardiff City in the English Championship.
The 20-year-old striker joined our Red Bulls in summer 2021 and made 54 appearances (with seven goals and three assists), celebrating two league titles and winning one cup.
He also played as a co-operation player for FC Liefering (24 appearances, 19 goals and 3 assists), in Salzburg's UEFA Youth League team (finishing top scorer of the 2021/22 tournament) as well as going on loan to FC Zürich (16 matches, 4 goals and one assist).
I think we have found a good solution for both sides. Roko has a chance in his new environment to establish himself and make lots of appearances. We wish him all the very best!
