This Thursday our boys are set for warmer weather with ten days to prepare for the rest of the season in Marbella, Spain.
It's important for us that we use every day of training intensively, as things will come thick and fast from the start of February. Until then we want to make the most of our training sessions, keep working on our principles and gel even closer together as a team.
A total of 27 men are in our squad heading for the Mediterranean. Along with our regulars, there are some young co-operation players who have been given the chance to make an impression on our coach. These include FC Liefering youngsters Lawrence Agyekum, Adam Daghim, Salko Hamzic and Raphael Hofer. Not making the journey due to injury is Nicolas Capaldo, who is recovering after a knee operation. Our three participants in the African Cup of Nations - Sekou Koita, Karim Konate and Dorgeles Nene - are also out.
