UCL: What eight opponents might our Red Bulls face?

New draw system in Champions League

We cannot wait for the UEFA Champions League draw on Thursday 29 August, when UEFA will pair us with as many as eight opponents. Who could they be and how does the new draw process work, we hear you ask?

As usual, all clubs will be placed into four pots subject to their UEFA points totals. A random generator will give us two opponents from all of the four pots, with no more than two teams from one country in the list of eight. Teams from the same national federation cannot face one another.

Overview of possible opponents
