Ahead of our cup clash against SK Sturm Graz, Mads Bidstrup was the happy recipient of our Player of the Month trophy for the first time! After scoring two big goals, he was voted by a big 58 percent of fans into first place. Here are the results:
1st - Mads Bidstrup (58.37%)
The Danish midfield all-rounder is not only a brilliant battler, he also showed his until now unknown nose for goals during March. A delighted Bidstrup scored the first goal of his career against Hartberg. An even more thrilled Mads added his second just two weeks later, sinking a huge volley against Sturm Graz!
2nd - Fernando (23.65%)
With his winner in the 1-0 success against LASK and two more goal involvements against Hartberg, the Brazilian showed just how crucial he is for our attacking. The speedy 25-year-old is good for some very special moments.
3rd - Oscar Gloukh (11.47%)
Will the young Israeli get the Player of the Month trophy after starting the month with his birthday? He definitely deserved it with his through balls being, as ever, a sheer delight. Oscar added two assists and a goal to his output in March.
4th - Maurits Kjaergaard (6.51%)
Our second Danish dynamite! Our set-piece specialist has been peppering opposing defences with perfect deliveries all month. The 20-year-old has shone as an attacking fulcrum in the middle and has kept our tempo high.
