October has ended on a good note with our important 3-0 home win giving us positive energy to take into the coming weeks. We'll have a quick look back at our recent games with our Player of the Month vote.
Vote below for your favourite! Here are the four nominees:
Karim Konate
Our Ivorian scored a vital late leveller in the Austrian Bundesliga home match against Altach, and then teed up Edmund Baidoo's sensational winner moments later. Karim scored in the cup win against WSG Tirol too (from the spot), before laying on a perfect assist for Adam Daghim.
Aleksa Terzic
It was fantastic to see the return of the flying Serbian full-back after injury problems! Aleksa roved forward on the left flank and netted a dream goal in his comeback month in the cup against WSG Tirol.
Edmund Baidoo
The new signing got his first taste of the Austrian Bundesliga with three substitute appearances. The undoubted highlight was scoring the winner in the final phase against SCR Altach. The 18-year-old also shone in the UEFA Youth League, scoring a goal and providing two dream assists during a stunning showing in the 5-1 win against Brest!
Mads Bidstrup
In phases in which not everything is going to plan - players as dependable as our Dane are extremely important. Mads does not shy from any single challenge, and we know full well why the Brentford fans used to call him 'Pitbull'. Our midfield dynamo's first call-up to the Danish national squad was a well-deserved highlight!
