Last weekend, the Red Bull Academy hosted our girls' talent day for the first time with around fifty young female footballers aged between 2013 and 2016 showing just what they can do with a football!
With sprint tests, shot drills, dribbling and a mini tournament to finish with - participants were put to the test with an intensive, and above all entertaining day of football on the giant indoor football pitch.
Three aims of the talent day
The main aim of the talent day is instilling a sense of fun and motivation for playing football, with the girls able to leave some first impressions on the women's football arm of our club. A co-operation with the Salzburg football association (SFV) should allow for training to be regularly held in future for those taking part - therefore keeping them involved in football.
Further events planned, with Bulls Camps offering girls' editions
Further girls' talent days are planned for the future, with these to be communicated on our club channels.
Girls between the ages of 9 and 14 who enjoy football can also take part in the girls' edition of the Bulls Camp autumn special. This is not a trial, with fun and games very much the focus. Details on the Bulls Camps can be found here:
