Ten of our Red Bulls are in action for other sides this season as they continue their development elsewhere around the world. At the end of the year, it is a great time to have a recap. Fortunes have been mixed, as always, with injuries and setbacks along with great comebacks.
Ignace Van der Brempt | Como 1907
The full-back suffered an adductor injury that kept him out for several weeks until the end of November. His absence seemed to effect Cesc Fabregas's side, who failed to win any of their five Serie A games without Inni. Things have improved since he returned, with defeat only coming to in-form Inter Milan and plenty of points picked up elsewhere in recent weeks - including away in Venice, where the Belgian provided two assists in a 2-2 draw.
Lawrence Agyekum | Cercle Brugge
Fourth-placed last season, Cercle have been in crisis in the current campaign and recently hired a new coach in Ferdinand Feldhofer. The Bruges outfit are on course to slowly lift themselves out of their dip in form. Our on-loan man from Ghana has helped in that, starting every league match since the middle of October.
Jonas Krumrey | Lyngby BK
The goalkeeper helped Lyngby to their one - and so far only - win in the Danish Superleague season in his second appearance, only to miss most of the season so far due to injury. He did return in time for the last two matches of 2024, even if he only gained a spot on the substitutes' bench.
Soumaila Diabate | FC Blau-Weiß Linz
He has been a defensive rock for the Blue and Whites! Since arriving in the summer, he has not missed a single minute and has helped propel the club to a great season so far that leaves them currently on course to make the championship group. Thanks to recent wins against our boys (unfortunately), Rapid Vienna and Austria Klagenfurt, Gerald Scheiblehner's side are very likely to secure safety.
Justin Omoregie | TSV Hartberg
He came, he saw and he won! The tall midfielder suffered a thigh injury for Austria U21 but made his comeback just before the winter break at GAK. The youngster from Vienna capped his comeback with an assist in a 3-0 win. Hartberg won just one of seven appearances without Justin.
Dijon Kameri | SCR Altach
Since Fabio Ingolitsch took the reins in Altach, Dijon has been a permanent part of the first XI. The technically polished youngster has not been able to save Altach from a disappointing autumn, however, with two points from their last seven matches seeing them bottom of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga at Christmas.
Douglas Mendes | Red Bull Bragantino
The final months of his loan deal have not gone quite as intended. Due to a change of coach, a dire run of three months without a win and a worrying position in the table, the defender was taken out of the starting line-up. He had not appeared in the past two months but has played a part in the last three matches, helping to inspire a turnaround with two wins.
Nicolo Turco | Milan Futuro
After some initial difficulties, the striker has increasingly found his feet at his loan side, switching between a starting berth and substitute appearances in the past few weeks for the Serie C strugglers. He scored his first goal in the Italian third flight in a 1-4 defeat to then leaders Delfino Pescara. A blow then came as he suffered injury a few weeks ago.
Samson Tijani | Fredrikstad FK
It hasn't been a fortunate loan for Samson. The midfield enforcer suffered a serious knee injury after three league matches and has returned to Salzburg to work on his recovery.
Federico Crescenti | FC Vaduz
Fede has been staking his claim for playing time in Switzerland's second-tier Challenge League - but niggly injuries have restricted him to just one short appearance since our last loan player check in the middle of October. Coach Marc Schneider has little reason to shake things up with no defeat since September.
